School Council
Your Le Phare School Council is made up of dedicated parents and staff members who donate their time, expertise and ideas to help enrich the school experience for children at Le Phare. School Council publishes monthly newsletters and maintains www.lephareschool.ca to keep families informed about School Council programs, activities, events and matters that concern the students at Le Phare.

Throughout the year, School Council and its network of parent volunteers organize various social and fundraising events such as the Festival of Lights, Bids for Kids Auction and a June Barbecue. Council raises money to help pay for school equipment and furniture, supplementary classroom materials, library books, sports equipment, special presentations, and cultural events. Our members organize and run such programs as Pizza and Sub days and an exceptional "food and fun" Nutrition program.

School Council Membership
We welcome new council members and new volunteers to help us make our programs and events a special part of life at Le Phare. Membership on School Council is open to all parents/guardians of students enrolled in the school as well as the school principal, and interested teachers and administrative staff.

School Council Meetings

School Council meetings are usually held in the school library the second Thursday of each month, starting with a meet and greet at 6:30 pm and a meeting from 7:00- 9:00 pm. All Le Phare parents/guardians are welcome to attend. See the list below for our meeting dates.
